I’m excited to share with you, the fruits of my labour this past month. The best way to learn is to do, so I set up a proper studio in our new home in New Jersey & got cracking. These vlogs are not perfect but if I wait for perfection I won’t ever publish anything. Besides half the fun is in the learning & so I proudly say, I did it all by myself. You will notice obvious improvements as you watch these – Hopefully I can start deleting some of my worst videos before too long. Each time I shoot & edit I learn something new, I cannot tell you how exhilarating that is!

THE STORY OF MY BRAND SO FAR…
Along with my new Canon camera, I bought two umbrella lights that have proved a game changer. Next up I’ll invest in an external microphone for better sound quality followed by my ultimate goal…a superior calibre lens. This may take a little time because these are expensive items so in the meantime I’ll work on creating the best content I can. Then as my channel grows to become more visible, the brands we all like will follow. After all none of this prancing about all day playing dress-ups is possible without an income right? Of course you know MT blog is a business for which I have big dreams & that means hard yakka. Luckily I’m not afraid of hard work – You can genuinely say that when you’ve picked fruit in the Negev desert. My point is, I’m doing something that I absolutely adore & I’m getting paid for it. There is no rich Husband benefactor throwing pots of money at me. I’m not ashamed to say that this is my job. Mind you, lately the outgoings have well & truly eclipsed the incomings, oh well “ya gotta spend money to make money” right?

Loved watching the blow out video – I’m off to a family do with huge roots, un-waxed eyebrows and torn nails (from previous gels) – urgh! Love the bendy curlers – I might get on with them better than hot brushes and irons! xx

BTW, did you get the money back from the insurance? I talked to my husband and he confirmed we actually got our money back for items that got damaged when we moved form the UK to France, so you should never give up. on this one. Loved seeing you! Now as for the insurance, we have received a payment from the insurer but it only covers the bed because nothing else was named in the policy. I did try to get them to cover the Ercol chairs but legally they weren’t obliged so unsurprisingly it was a no from them. I also contacted the shipping company 1ST MOVE INTERNATIONAL directly & put the heavy on them about moral responsibility etc. You can probably guess that I never heard back from them. Just disgusting really. So that’s the end of that, time to let it go & move on. Alhough not before I make mention of their name all over my social media. God forbid anyone else comes across them. Mx

Oh my lord, I’m not even kidding when I say you could write a book about beauty! Not me though, very basic knowledge. It’s probably down to sheer laziness on my part & now that I have you to reference I’ll never catch up xx

Love love love the videos!!! And you do the winged liner SO perfectly! I always admire that look on you. Love the bangs!!! (or is it Fringe?) DO you like them? Whenever I get bangs I adore them for like- a day. LOL! I really love the whole look on you. Also, I am just so amazed at how much you have been able to blog and vlog with all that you’ve had going on! My word woman-I feel like the biggest slacker after seeing all of this! Well DONE! I am moving again soon and I’ll be closer to civilization and dependable wifi (what a kick in the gut thats been out here!)- I have so much I want to write about! Anyway- I’ve always loved the blog and now I love the You Tube channel as well. Thanks for such great content!

I’m surprised to hear that you’re moving, where are you going? I can imagine how frustrating intermittent wifi is. I’d quietly go nuts 😉
Bangs/fringe? I can never make up my mind but usually by the time I’ve let it grow out somewhat I’m bored & ready for the chop again. I plan to do a diy fringe trim next time xx
